Our host will welcome you and lead the social ride on Zwift, with the conversation and group view via Zoom video link. Kate will ride along while interviewing our guests from Qlik, Qhubeka and pro riders from Team Qhubeka, and offering you the chance to ask your questions 'face-to-face'.
For those riding on Zwift, you'll need a home trainer, a bike and a Zwift subscription. If not on Zwift, just use your platform of choice and send through how many kms/miles you've ridden!
You can also simply share your Strava kms/miles via email: events@cyclingexecs.com and / or post on social media and tag us with #q4q before July 31 and we'll count your efforts!
A world champion cyclist, Kate is a regular face on Australian television hosting and commentating on major cycling events including the Tour de France, Olympics and Commonwealth Games. Kate will be your host for the morning both on and off the bike
Douglas Ryder (OLY) is the founder and Team Principal of Team Qhubeka , Africa’s only UCI WorldTour Team. As a professional cyclist, he represented South Africa at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.

Bicycles change lives, and on behalf of International Cycling Executives (ICE) and Qlik, you are invited to join us for a Zwift ride to raise funds for the Qhubeka Charity to continue their work in Africa.
Join Olympian & cycling commentator Kate Bates and the ICE community for a 60 minute ride through Zwift and with four events across four timezones, giving everyone the chance to participate.
This is an immersive experience while riding in Zwift with a Zoom call where Kate will chat to Doug Ryder OLY, founder of team Qhubeka, as well as hearing from Chris Powell and Steven Birdsall from Qlik. We'll get a 'behind the curtains' view into professional cycling and the incredible power of data for good!
For every km we ride in the event, Qlik will donate $1, as well as matching any donations you make $ for $. Your donation is a bonus, and optional... so let's use our pedal power to change the world one bicycle at a time!
You can also simply share your Strava kms/miles via email: events@cyclingexecs.com and / or post on social media and tag us with #q4q before July 31 and we'll count your efforts!

Qlik
Chris leads Qlik's Global marketing strategy as Chief Marketing Officer. Chris loves a good story and will do most things for one. This includes horseback riding across the Andes, a charity bike ride from London to Paris, and joining Arctic explorer Robert Swan on an expedition to the South Pole to raise awareness of renewable energy. When not telling great stories, he's training for triathlons!
Qlik
Steven leads Qlik’s worldwide sales and enjoys a large and active family. He is an outdoor adventurer often found climbing, hiking or swimming for charities world-wide. When not outdoors training for the next triathlon (his sixth season so far!), he can be found immersed in first-edition history books (yes the rare hardbound kind!) on Abraham Lincoln.

Qhubeka is a global charity that moves people forward with bicycles in Africa. People earn bicycles through their programmes, improving access to schools, clinics and jobs. A bicycle is a tool that helps people to travel faster and further, to generate income and to carry more. In the face of extreme and persistent poverty, bicycles can change lives by helping to address socioeconomic challenges at the most basic level – helping people to get where they need to go!
